A Möbius Strip - An object with only 1 single surface, and 1 single edge. A Möbius strip such as on the left is a mathematical, conceptual shape impossible to fully create without a 3-dimensional understanding of space, much like its counterpart the Klein Bottle - a shape only fully understood in 4 dimensions of space. The Möbius Bench was designed to imitate the Möbius strip effect in a functional furniture setting.
